2022 in Review - Highlights of the Year

We are so grateful for the wonderful people and projects we have had the opportunity to work with in the last year and wanted to review all the exiting things that 2022 brought us, as we kick off the new year!

Project Features

January got off to a good start with a feature in ‘25 Beautiful Homes,’ on our Eden House project - a classic contemporary Georgian house in Richmond upon Thames.

Moving through the year to March ‘Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms Magazine,’ released a feature on our Montgomery House project bathrooms - a ‘quintessentially British’ Victorian townhouse in Chiswick with a brave and moody colour scheme.

In April, our vibrant period property in Holland Park, Seville House featured in ’25 Beautiful Homes,’ magazine. This project was also featured in ‘Buckinghamshire and Berkshire Living,’ in June as well as in the ‘KBB’ magazine in July.

Our Classic Country House in the North Downs featured in the ‘Homes and Gardens,’ online in September. Our clients wanted to keep their existing furniture and reupholstery of their much-loved pieces – we were able to salvage and breathe new life into their existing pieces, reducing the amount of waste and new furniture that needed to be bought. The concept for this project inspired from the surrounding hilltop view of the North Downs nature and landscapes.

Our most recent feature was in the magazine ‘Country Homes and Interiors,’ featuring our Blackberry Barn project. Through this Grade II listed Barn House, we created an eclectic ‘bachelor pad’ inspired by Annabel’s Club.

Podcasts

Pia was asked to participate in three podcasts this year in collaboration with Kitchens, Bedrooms and Bathrooms (KBB), with Acting Editor Georgina Townshend, along with fellow friend and interior designer Amy Stoddart of Amy Rebecca Interiors. In her first podcast Pia and Amy discuss all the bathrooms of the house. In the next podcast they unpick kitchen and bathroom storage dilemmas and how to solve them. Finally, Pia and Amy spoke again about ‘Floor and Worktops for Kitchens & Bathrooms.’ Check out the podcasts which Pia features in over on Spotify now!

Projects

This year we have designed a total of 25 projects and completed 10 projects. We had professional photoshoots of 3 of them (some so exclusive we can’t even share the images yet)!

Carrying on into the new year, we have several projects still underway, including a lovely five-bedroom farmhouse near Aylesbury which we are hoping to see completed by the summer and a seven-bedroom new build home in St Albans, which we have been working on for the past 4 years and hope to see finished in Spring 2023.

We can’t wait to see how our concepts have transformed into the final designs!

Another project which we are excited about this year is our first hotel project – a beautiful country manor building that specialises in Weddings and events.

Other News

Since May last year we have expanded our team from three to four, Pia, Emily, Jessica (and of course Pepsi).

In June we had a team photoshoot at the studio with the amazing team at Luna Works. We felt it was about time we reveal the team that make it all happen!

We are so grateful to all our clients and dedicated suppliers who make it all happen and we look forward to the new opportunities that 2023 will bring us.
